Alex Condon uncertain on NBA Draft future following Combine

Alex Condon has had a massive year of basketball, culminating in an NCAA National Championship with his Florida Gators. 

The Australian used his sophomore season to drastically increase his draft stock, as he turned in to a major contributor on what ended up being the title team. 

While Condon has now entered the draft, he has not confirmed if he will stay in or return to school, with plenty of variables from the draft combine set to play into his decision.

Florida big-man Alex Condon has not yet decided whether he will remain in the 2025 NBA Draft, or return to Florida for a third season.

While Condon initially declared and is participating in the Draft Combine, he is still eligible to return to college, and said that his final decision will come down to his confidence in being picked in the mid-to-late first round. 

“I know I’m kind of in that 20-35 range right now,” Condon told reporters.

“I’ve got a good situation waiting for me at Florida. I’ve got teammates that I just won a national championship with.

“It has to be a good situation for me to stay [in the draft], but the feedback I’m getting from teams right now is positive, and I’m ready to stay in if I need to.”

Sporting News’ current mock draft has Condon being selected at pick 36 by the Brooklyn Nets, while ESPN, Bleacher Report and Yahoo also having him falling into the second round.
